Immigration and Visas
All travellers, except New Zealand citizens, must obtain a visa or electronic travel authority before travelling to Australia.
The Australian Consulate-General in Geneva has no visa function. The Department of Home Affairs office in Berlin, Germany, manages visa and citizenship services for clients in Switzerland.
Note: Swiss nationals can apply online for most Australian visas and citizenship through ImmiAccount. This is the preferred and most efficient way to apply. Any paper applications (where applicable) should be sent to the Australian Embassy, Berlin.
